Crispy Cumin Potatoes

Fantastic way to jazz up the old spud and serve with Fragrant fish curry or Eye Fillet, very quick to prepare and cook .


  • 800g Agria Potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp whole Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Tumeric
  • pinch of Chilli Flakes
  • salt


  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into large bite sized cubes and cook in boiling salted water until just tender
  2. drain well and set aside
  3. Heat oil in frying pan , add the mustard seeds and cumin and cover immediately until the seeds have stopped popping
  4. Add the numeric and chilli and then the Potatoes ,
  5. Season well and turn to coat in the spice mixture
  6. Cook turning occasionally until the potaotes are golden and crispy
