Easy Hollandaise

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 juice of a lemon
  • salt and pepper
  • a dash of white wine vinegar


  1. Separate egg yolks into a microwavable bowl (keep the whites to make meringues!!).
  2. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and whisk until a smooth consistency.
  3. Slowly whisk in the melted butter to incorporate.
  4. Place in microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, whisk.
  5. Place in jars and store in fridge till required.
