Japanese Dipping Sauce

Great with dumplings or edamame beans! Recipe by Ripe


  • 1/4 cup light Japanese soy sauce (I use GF)
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tbsp raw/palm/coconut sugar or stevia
  • 1/4 cup water


  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat place all the ingredients and simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. Pour into sterilized jars for up to 3 months.
