Classic French Dressing

How easy is this, and so much nicer than any bought ones! Recipe by Melanie Eady


  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil


  1. Combine vinegar, mustard, salt and sugar in a small ceramic bowl.
  2. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Add oil to the vinegar mixture in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly until dressing thickens.
