Vegan Snickers bar

Quite an incredible slice, its vegan, Gluten Free and Diary free, no cooking involved  and its utterly Devine


  • 150g dates (soaked in hot water 10 minutes ) weigh the dates before you soak them
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups of almond meal
  • 1/4 cup cocoa oe cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil ( melted )

Peanut Caramel

  • 300g dates ( soaked in hot water )
  • 1/2 coconut oil ( melted )
  • 1/2 cup smooth natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup canned coconut cream/ milk


  1. Blitz all the ingredients in a food processor
  2. Flatten into a slice tin
  3. Refrigerate while you make the caramel

Peanut Caramel

  1. Drain the soaked dates
  2. Melt the coconut oil
  3. Blitz all the ingredients in a high power blender like a Nutra bullet until a creamy thick consistency forms.
  4. Spread over the base and freeze for a couple of hours or until the caramel sets

Chocolate coating

  1. melt lots of vegan dark chocolate ( Whitakers dark Ghana &Lindt 85% choc)
  2. Cut the slice into bars then dip into the melted chocolate
  3. Refrigerate to set
  4. If you would like a slice not bars add 2 tablespoons coconut oil to the chocolate before you pour over the top
