Chocolate Fudge Squares

Super quick and easy for that go to slice in a rush! Recipe by Melanie Eady


  • 125g butter
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 big tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees, fan forced. Grease and line a baking dish approx 27cm long.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla.
  3. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into the butter mixture and mix gently to combine.
  4. Spread into the tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Ice when cool (refer to the unbaked cake for icing recipe). Cut into squares.
