Soy Roasted Almonds

These soy roasted almonds are exactly like the Tamari packet ones you can buy, but a 1/4 of the price, such a simple yummy way to jazz up the old Almond .Recipe by Annabel Langbein

Ingredients


  • 2 cups (300g) whole almonds
  • 2 tbsp Japanese soy sauce (can use GF soy)
  • 1 tbsp rice bran oil

Method


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Place the almonds on a baking tray.
  3. Pour over the soy sauce and mix through.
  4. Add the oil and toss to coat.
  5. Roast almonds for approx 12-15 mins, until fragrant and crisp.
  6. Serve immediately or cool before storing in a sealed jar. They store for several weeks.
